First entry: the things to come!

Hi there! Gabriel here, I hope you are doing fine today!

This is my first time blogging (like, ever) so please forgive my amateurish way of structuring sentences. Probably not being a native English speaker doesn’t really help either, but I hope this is readable enough! Since I currently live in Europe I will write in English, but if you are a Spanish speaker and want an explanation of anything exposed here in our beautiful language please feel free to reach out! :)

Anyway, this one is a short one. I just want to clarify what type of content I’ll be posting here (both to any potential reader and mostly as a reminder to myself).

I am a songwriter, sound designer, and -aspiring- music designer, so I’ll be posting about some of the projects (insofar I am allowed to talk about them) I am working on at the moment. For the time being, most of my entries will relate to my ongoing Bachelor Thesis project Synthpaint, which is a playful synth I am currently developing using Unity and Pure Data. In the future, I hope to share some of my personal discoveries in fields of my interest like game and interactive audio, creative sound manipulation, and experimental music creation.

Please bear in mind that if I find something that is exciting enough to write about, it’s mostly because is new to me, not because I think I am inventing all these things and techniques myself. Probably there are way better ways of doing many of the things I will show, so always keep researching!

Un abrazo!

Gabriel G.A.
